ICT Development Agenda is a weekly, web-based newsletter providing objective information about major international developments in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). In particular, it covers the outcomes of decision-making meetings and the content of important reports. The purpose of the newsletter is to bring this information more readily into the public domain, and to provide a platform for its dissemination to a wider audience. The newsletter is intended for those responsible for decision-making on international and national ICT issues in developing countries, and those seeking to contribute to that decision-making process.
The development of ICT Development Agenda forms part of the CTO's 'Building Digital Opportunities' programme, which is funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Within this programme, it is part of a study on the impact that developing countries have on international decision-making in ICTs.
